About me

I’m Maddi, a communicator at heart and an HR professional in the making. I’ve spent the last few years building experience in payroll, office administration, and employee relations while studying Communications at CSUF. Along the way, I discovered that I love improving workplaces, supporting people, and creating experiences that make work feel a little brighter.

I’m also a designer and storyteller. I love building websites, creating visual projects, and turning everyday tasks into something engaging. This portfolio is where those two worlds meet, the HR side that keeps things running and the creative side that brings things to life.

When I’m not working or in class, you can usually find me hanging out with my husband and our miniature dachshund, Dotson, taking photos, or riding dirt bikes on the weekends.

Creative and Personal Photography

Photography has always been the place where my creative side comes to breathe. Between school, work, and building my HR career, picking up my camera reminds me to slow down and see the world with intention.

Most of my favorite photos come from everyday moments,drives with my husband, little adventures, quiet places, and of course, chasing our miniature dachshund, Dotson, around. I love capturing the details people usually overlook: soft light, textures, colors, and the small stories happening in the background.

This section is a collection of the moments that inspire me, ground me, and spark the creativity I bring into both my personal life and my professional work.
